American Electric Lighting 125
Here is my 250 watt high pressure sodium AEL 125. This one is unique because it is UL Listed, painted silver, and belonged to the city of Boston at one time. I have a closeup picture of the "Property Of City Of Boston" label, which is attached to the inside of the door, in my gallery.

Yeah I wonder why they had ordered 125s and 115s in silver... They had stopped getting them in silver and were just using gray ones AFAIK until they started using LEDs.

Maybe to try to get the same look as the Westinghouse Silverliners, L-M Unistyles, and other vintage lights?

Not sure. They already had a lot of gray fixtures there so it was weird. The silver looked awesome on the 115s but the 125 doesn't have that vintage look that the 115 has, so the 125s looked a little odd in silver IMO.

I'd like to order some silver 115's. And I agree with you. The 115 does have a vintage look.
