StreetLight #214
This stretch of highway has a random mis-matched selection of lights along it (which actually seems to be a fairly common thing they do here, no idea why)

This one was Just a couple lights down from that M-400 I posted yesterday

This one's an M-400 as well. Smile the current version. Every M-400 generation was simply named the M-400 (or M-400A for powr/door versions) except for the 80s/90s generation, the M-400R2 and M-400A2. The M-250 line is much more involved than that, in fact the only light actually called M-250 was a first generation M-400 with a longer socket designed to run 175 and 250W MV lamps! The first actual small sized M-250 cobrahead was the M-250R (1960-1969). The M-250A Powr/Door was introduced in 1966, the M-250R was discontinued in 1969 in favor of the new M-250R1 (1970-1985). The M-250A2 was introduced alongside the M-250A in the early 80s (at that time the M-250A2 was called the M-150 but was renamed). The M-250A and M-250R1 were discontinued by 1985, replaced by the M-250A2 and M-250R2, which are still in production 30 years later, longer than any other GE model, albeit not the exact original design.
