GE M-250R2 With Round GE Refractor
I think this looks good with the deep round refractor. I think that this refractor was supplied with the M-250R2 for 175W MV units but the HPS and 100W MV versions used the squared refractors. I don't know why but that's what I see here. The 175W ones always have the round lens and the 100W MV ones always have the squared lens. The HPS ones all originally had the squared lenses but some have random refractors since NGrid replaced refractors if the fixture had dirt in the refractor. They could just wipe the dirt out...

Wow, replacing refractor because they're dirty is really wasteful! I can understand yellowed plastic but not dirty glass!

Yep I've seen nice 60s 100W MVs get their glasses replaced with plastic drop lenses all because the refractor had a few specks of dirt settled in the bottom! I've even seen FCO lights (aka M-250A2 FCOs) get a drop lens inserted because of this.

And they didn't replace it with a 50 or 70 watt HPS? Wow! Even weirder!

Until late 2014-early 2015, NGrid was still relamping 100W MVs. The M-250A2 I speak of was relamped around a year ago. Now it would either get replaced with a 100W or 50W HPS fixture.
