Philips 1.2w retrofit for 10w halogen

It seems obvious Philips is pushing LEDs as this was just a hair more than the cost of their 10w halogen, which this lamp is designed to replace. I won't put it into service until the next halogen burns out, which should be soon :) It may not fit without removing or modifying the reflector....I guess we'll see. Testing this on a 9v battery....it looks like it puts out about 10w & the light quality looks pretty close halogen.
