***NEW from McCann Lighting!*** LD250 LineDor™ Luminaire
|
The original LineDor™ luminaire that I drew up has now been replaced by two new fixtures: the LD250 and the LD400. The original LineDor could handle 50-400W lamps but it was a small sized fixture so I decided to make a dedicated fixture for 200-400W HPS (and 320-400W MH and 400W MH) the LD400, so I also designed a new small sized LineDor™, the LD250 for 50-150W HPS, 70-250W PSMH and 175-250W MH.
I also included installation and maintenance instructions, which include a diagram showing the lamp socket brackets and how to adjust them. The new LD250 and LD400 have all the same special features of the original LineDor™ including: all components mounted on the lower housing, power disconnect plug for the lower housing, a hinge keeper, optional PC socket, and a reflector attached to the lower housing, which is held in by spring-action. Some new features include advanced lamp socket adjustment capabilities, power plug to disconnect the reflector/socket assemble to remove it from the lower housing, and the option of a two-bolt or a four-bolt slipfitter.
The LineDor™ line was introduced as a "lineman-friendly" luminaire, as all components are conveniently located on the lower housing. The idea was based off the McGraw-Edison Unidor, though I added my own features and eliminated some of theirs.
