You'd probably get this dated on the LG but it's a nice GE lamp! I'll wing it and say its from the 80s since it's outside etch, though some plants had outside etch in the 70s IIRC...

Okay. This would place it with the fixtures these lamps came with and their ballasts...maybe original!
This one is now alongside the Norelco-made Westinghouse F20T12/CW from ReStore, replacing the EOL one of these.

Nice! I always love getting fixtures that still have their original lamps. Very Happy

I just remembered a 2ft wraparound at a house my Dad had that was built in 1955 with lamps like these IIRC...it was over the dining room table and he took it down and I didn't save it at the time, having not been into fluorescent lights yet. I wish I had it now!
IIRC one of the starters was bad or something, because one of the lamps would only light when conditions were just right!

aw. Too bad your dad didn't think to replace the starters. Sad

Maybe one of them was bad and the good one had to be switched around? When I went back through the house before it was demolished in 2012 I looked in the garage/shop but didn't find it...granted it would have been rained on for over a year since the roof had been removed.

Yeah maybe. I've gotten some luck with reversing starters but I usually just chuck them if they don't work.

Yeah on the bad one of these I tried swapping it end for end and it still rectified. I also tried it on a single lamp ballast.
