Cooper Lighting OVH
I decided to install my 100 watt high pressure sodium Cooper OVH on my streetlight display. I think it looks pretty good. Although I think it's a little too heavy because I heard the wall make a creak sound when I was tightening the slipfitter bolts.

Lookin' good! Is that a Fisher Pierce photocell? I don't see any indents so it can't be DTL. Could be ALR though?

I guess your M-400A2 is too heavy for the pole? Razz Laughing

I think one of your mercs would look great. The OV-15, M-250A2, OVZ. The 113 or 13 would look good too. So won't the unistyle when you get it. Very Happy

Thanks Very Happy. Yeah it's a newer one with a green window. Tony actually gave it to me a while back. FP OLC Sun-Tech's used to be my favorite photocontrols but the quality just isn't there anymore. They might be using cheaper parts to compete with other manufacturers prices like DTL. Or maybe the cost of materials to make them is going up so they had to switch to cheaper materials?

Yeah I don't think I'd install the M400A2 on it. I actually think the OV-15 and even the OVZ and M250A2 would be too heavy with the drop glass refractors. The OV-15 would be to heavy just because it was better built and the aluminum is thicker.

Ah I have a blue one from 2012 with the green window. My gray suntech from 2010 had the clear window with the green filter though.

Hmm Maybe you should make a stronger set up. Razz Laughing My set-up is entirely standalone (no holes in the walls, or else my parents would have flipped out) and has a switch and an outlet on it so I can plug in other stuff. The thing itself just plugs into to the wall. It cost me roughly 75 bucks to make mine but you could certainly make a cheaper one if you wanted to.

Yeah I was originally going to build a standalone display but the way I did it takes up less space since I live in a apartment. I might build a standalone display in the future but we might be moving in a few months so just waiting to see what happens with that. . . .

Ahh I see. Yeah if you're moving just wait and see I guess. Cool
