Westinghouse RMA optical.
I managed to find a vintage unbroken original optical for my Westinghouse RMA nema Jason had given to me. It even came with a homemade internal light shield. A good cleaning and this baby should be good or close as new. Now all I need is a mounting bracket.

Wow yours looks almost new! The paint looks great on that! Mine had all the paint worn off it. You couldn't tell it was ever painted unless you looked inside. I repainted it so it's nice and silver again. Very Happy I had to beat my bucket reflector back into shape lol. I guess it's a new bucket since the latches don't look like that. Your bucket looks cooler. Razz

Thanks, Yea i was surprised to find this it does need cleaning though. I believe that the one you have is actually a Formed Plastics optic I have one just like it Plus that's what BGE was using as replacements. Still cool though.

The plastic part is Formed Plastics but I don't know who makes the top half.

Formed Plastics also makes the reflectors, I'm not sure if yours is but more than likely. I have the closed bottom with the reflector from them in one piece.

Hmm Interesting. Mine has two pieces and the ring is held together by a spring. The reflector is smooth (well it's a little bumpy from getting beat up in shipping and then me reshaping it but it's still a smooth style reflector lol). The bucket wasn't with the NEMA head. He had gotten the NEMA head and then had gotten me the bucket separately. The latches are a little flimsey but it might be because the reflector isn't exactly how it was supposed to be (with me reshaping it and all...)

OH OK, it kinda sounds like my SYLVANIA or AEL reflector there ring has a spring attachment too. I know i hate having to fix shipping misshapes too.

Ahh yeah it's a pretty tough spring but the spring holds the ring on.
