Nice! That M-400A2 looks so nice and new. Very Happy BTW, does that say 03-97 under the date? that's the 3rd week of 1997. Mine and Darren's are from 1997 too. Cool

Yeah I think it is 3-97. I had already put it away after I took the pics of it before I just posted these pics and didn't want to get it back out to double check the date lol.

The R2 and A2 both use the same reflector and top housing.

Yeah they use the same reflector clip too. It has one slot to angle the reflector for the A2 and another slot closer to the housing to make it more leveled for the R2. So if you find a M-400R2 refractor door and ballast brackets for an M-400R2, you can convert back and forth between the two. You'd need a different terminal block if you want to get all fancy but if you just want it to look like a M-400R2 on the outside then it doesn't matter lol.
