Nice addition it's always exciting to get new fixtures ....give me date code of your Westy and I can date it..

Just looking at it it does look pre 1970 as the design of the body is very slightly different on the 70s ones your ballast looks similar to my August 1968 250 watt Silverliner.....the 1970s ones the ballast is located differently with different terminal connector

I think it's May 1968... He gave me the date code and I had told him but i guess you forgot Ryan? I'm pretty sure it was "EB" if you want to double check that. Is it true that you just add two years to the GE date code to get the Westinghouse? that's what i had done...

EB. Mine silverliner is May 1968 too it has EB not sure why I said August but you got it right Smile

Oh cool they're the same age? I was trying to figure out the voltage of this light for him since the fixture label is gone and the ballast label is worn. It's not 240V, at least i don't think it is. It uses a neutral so my first guess is that it's 120V but the ballast label LOOKS like it says 208V. Is there such a thing as 208V with 120V PC? I know with 240V you can do that. Almost all the mercs in the Rhode Island and Southeastern MA area had 240V reactors with PCs wired for 120V.

@Mike, Since the ballast label was worn, I didn't want to put a date manufactured for it til we were sure of a date. But it did look like EB.
