The End Is Near...I think... 1991 GE Chroma 50 getting near the end of the road...thought this would make for an interesting photo. I've taken it out of service (I've since moved the fixture these lamps were in) and I have no doubt it will last awhile like this knowing how the older GE's blacken/age but I wanted to preserve it nonetheless. This lamp has a funny story behind it...namely (unknowing) teachers and janitors thinking replacing bulbs will make a light stop buzzing so loud during the standardized testing...it kinda did actually! Those are really nice lamps Cool hope to find a pair of them one day and in warm white

LOL I'm typing under some warm white Mainlighters right now in that fixture I suspended yesterday. Compared to the Chroma 50s the warm whites are BRIGHT!
