I had one of these previously but it broke (and it was in this particular adapter it's being lit in (and this one currently lives in). It had some substantial end banding, so what could be a better replacement than finding an identical lamp in better shape too?! Laughing
I got another one at the same time of this one but it's EOL and blinks. I reversed the polarity (turned the circline adapter's plug over) and it just rectified dimly. I only tested it for like 30 seconds tops though...

yeah my closet light had began rectifying so i flipped the lamp and it solved that. Then the starter would take a minute for the glowbottle to even glow (the lamp wouldn;t turn on or even attempt to start the after like a minute or two the lamp would randomly come on) so i reversed the starter and it solved that too lol. i like the starter in it (metal cased cooper from Aaron) because it's blink happy and takes a few seconds to start unlike some that virtually instant start lamps. Sad

Sometimes the delay can be annoying...otherwise my walk-in pantry would have a circline adapter. Since I'm out of spirals, it's incandescents or preheat circline adapters going in now.
