I only bought it because I have never had a foreign photocontrol before, well, other than ones made in China. And it was like 8 dollars with free shipping.

Hehe i was just kidding around. these look pretty cool. Smile How does it compare to a standard North American PC? It does look quite robust.

Well, I want to open it up. But i've looked at it very carefully and it looks like there is no way to open it without breaking it. I shined a flashlight inside the window and it looks like it is sealed closed from the top, not the base. But it seems pretty durable. I don't know what the quality is of the electronics inside though.
