General Electric 400 watt mercury vapor split door street lights are very common in my area too.

There used to be alot of M-400A's in my area but something happened to them. Mad

Amazingly some of the split doors here are still 400 watt MERC.!!! Shocked We see some on in the morning on the way to our work area.

I know of two 400W MV M-400 split doors near me. The rest are 250W HPS.

There were two on the main street in my town but they were replaced because of an upgrade 4 years ago.

Double guys in this pic used to be owned by PECO, but Delmarva took over, and added the tapered arms Smile

Nice shot bud!

sorry bud but Delmarva always owned this terretory, only area that used to be Peco is cecil county where I am. Apparently they both used them at one time. Very Happy Wink .But you are correct when Peco was bought out in my area they did change from double guy to tapered but not at first I geuss they wanted to use what was left of Peco's double guy stock first.
streetlight98   [Nov 29, 2012 at 07:55 PM]
Are you guys talking about PEPCO or is PECO a third company? Razz Laughing
Mercuryvapor123   [Nov 29, 2012 at 10:14 PM]
Philadelphia Electric co. (PECO) was in my area until Delmarava bought it out.
GullWhiz   [Nov 30, 2012 at 02:48 AM]
Well I don't see any double guy arms in Delmarva in the more southern part (just where the Chesapeake bay bridge is) instead they have the same tapered arms as above plus i believe Utility Metals arms....very much like the one in your backyard George, except without the guylines.....they also use the sag lens too...
