Wonder how this would behave when both filaments are spent...or how the EOL would be if it was "finished off" on an electronic IS or magnetic slimline ballast...

The fixture looks like the one I have set up in the laundry room down in the basement. Heavy sucker too!

It's on it's second life. What happens as the first cathode runs out of emitter? I'm guessing there will be a momentary dip in brightness or flicker as the arc transitions itself to the second cathode (assuming it is lit when this occurs).
