Yeah, seems unsual for it to last that long (unless series incandecents last longer then regular ones). I wonder if the city/municipality has a stock of them?

I doubt it has been lasting THAT long, lol but the city obviously has a whole stack of them somewhere in their public works building!

Close up of operating series incandescent bulb

This gumball is missing its glass so I was able to take a pic of the bulb. It is a little 1000 lumen bulb! Series 1000 lumen bulbs have not been made in at least 10 years. Amazing these old guys are still going!
