I have a pic of those NYC setups....there's one I took pic of I have to find in the computer which is really interesting...and I took the pic when the older Westinghouse/Crouse Hinds fixtures were still all over this road, and after when they changed out all the fixtures in NYC to electronic ballasted HPS

HERE is the intersection I speak of! It's near my grandma's house

New York City is known for its complex traffic signal clusters at major signalized intersections. I might have came across that traffic signal cluster that you provided an image of at one time or another.

Most of the skewed or offset intersection I have seen use 3M type heads.

Three-way traffic signal cluster

This cluster could be found in lower Manhattan. The traffic signals were manufactured by Marbelite, and they control a skewed intersection (which is why the long tunnel visors are used here).
