[/url] Anyways this is a nice kit, and it's still very powerful. My favourite is actually the impact driver which has A LOT more power than the drill, I would recommend getting one if you don't already, it could probably function as a drill as well without any problems. The batteries have charge indicators and take only half an hour to charge, plus if I wanted I could get a 3.0 Ah battery as they are compatible. So, what do you guy think of it? Mhh... using an impact driver as a drill is not the best idea. It MAY work with concrete, but concrete drills are a little different in the way the impact part works.

Impact drivers do a wonderful job with wood screws and lag bolts though!

Well from what I have read they are just as good, or better for rough drilling, like with spade bits, for any fine drilling you'd want to use a drill. I'll be using the drill mostly since I have it though I'm thinking about doing some sort of comparison between the two. Since I've only has this for about 24 hours I haven't been able to "play" with it much yet, I've only drilled a few small pilot holes with the drill and put in some 2 inch wood screws into some scrap wood with the impact, I really like it for that!

I use an Impact Driver at work for installing streetlights. Very Happy Works Like a charm!
