Durastar series 20
Located infront of my Grandmother's House in South Hadley, MA. These are the main fixtures you see up in this town with a few OVZ and 113's up as well. This was installed in 2006 and replaced a 100 wat MV NEMA head that I always loved ever since I could remember. The Town of South Hadley has a Municipal Utility.

Ick! Probably the worst looking HID streetlight out there. Mad Those reflectors are intense though, I will admit. There are some in the Burrilville area and 50W seems almost like 100. Shocked

I would of rather the town installed a FCO 115 since South Hadley uses nothing but AEL now. All of the side streets and some main roads were all NEMA head fixtures. I still remember some of them and always like watching them fire up at night when I would visit my grandmother as a kid.

Eh. Lights like the 115 (and other lights with a tilted refractor) don't look that great in FCO IMO. I'd rather them use a 115 over a Dura-Star though. I love those older NEMA heads. Even the HPS ones are fun to look up at when the lamps kicks in if the HPS lamp is an older one.

I looked through some old pictures in my grandparents' basement to see what was on their street before the bail latch M-250Rs. Any pic i found had the M-250Rs up though. They had all of their gray paint then too and more of them had glass lenses too.
