Ideal 61-765 clamp meter
That's one high-end clamp meter! You can see all the features on the device!

In bonus: green backlight and a 2nd screen below the probe connections!

The latter is very useful when you read a current in a big 200 or 400A panel and you have to deal with #4/0 wire or even gauges in the MCM range. Another cool feature, if you read any voltage over 30V, the clamp meter beeps, and the light below the clamp flashes!

I have that exact same meter I use at work. I usually use it on substation control wiring.

Nice meter! Mine (the Fluke 322 ) is also a nice meter but doesn't have as many features.

The clamp meters we have at school are Fluke 322s as well! XD

By the way here's a quick video of my clamp meter in action when I was measuring the voltage of my 250W metal halide lamp!.

we have the same meter at school, i just now learned how to use it, its quite easy! i want one now they're in the $30-40 range Confused

The 61-765?? Shocked You're gonna have to tell me where you found such a deal! XD I paid mine just under 300$ LOL.

I guess you're talking about other models though ^__^. If you want something good expect to invest at least 100$. Cheaper stuff is quite unpredictable. I had one clamp meter with a shorted voltmeter right out of the package, and another one that went crazy after 3 months (giving a reading of -334A even with no current measured XD)
