Picked up some of these from eBay some time back,they are typically American and remember seeing these in the 50s when visiting an aunt in New Jersey thanks for showing Dennis.

The coloring seems to be external, when it flaking like this.

Indeed, it looks similar to my Older General Electric Opaque Red Coated C7 bulb in my collection Smile
