Yeah i think Rick is right. The pink tone to the lamps adds some color to the otherwise flushed skin. Otherwise the person would look like a ghost. That's why funeral homes block out natural light and have all pink lights during a wake. Really it just comes down to the pink tone making the body look more "presentable"
