Cool! Any idea how old it is? Kinda hard to make a working display with this. Have to do something about the exposed connections.

I have seen this exact old guy myself before! I would say this was from the 1940-1950s....The wiring setup was actually designed for series wiring setup!

It's not rust..it's the color of it.I think some kind of copper.....but the arm looks a bit rusty!

No, it is a Line Materials brand....and it USED to be wired in series I believe....that was why it was wired like that...

I have one myself, from the same area see here The arm of mine is in a better condition.....The head is actually aluminum!!!
