GE H15GV 700w/1000w Clear Mercury
I got this at the end of December from a local seller. I almost passed it up as the ad merely said something like large mogul based light bulb so I thought it was a modern MH. However the long arc tube, full frame, and lack of white paint screamed clear 1000w MV to me which is a lamp I always wanted. This also marks my last lamp for the year 2020.

Anyway this a fairly interesting lamp, it's technically a 1000w lamp but it's also rated for operation on 700w ballasts, hence the dual wattage on the etch. Also never seen such a simple MV etch. The catalogue description for this lamp states that operation at 700w "shows excellent lumen-maintenance and life performance, so that its total "cost of light" is equal to or less than that for the 700-watt lamp on the same ballast."

My catalogue sleuthing pins this being made around 1960 or so, pre Bonusline but with a post 1950s arctube design. Unfortunately I don't think I saw any date code markings anywhere on the lamp. The ballast code is ASA H15, the predecessor to the later ANSI H36 standard.

Thanks, I had to do a double take when I looked at the etch and saw the small GE etch and the 700/1000w rating.
