Switch and thermostat box.
Here are a couple of 3104-LHTQ boxes. To this day they hold a switch and an electronic thermostat somewhere in Alberta!

Also note the odd drywall cutting work (which is mine BTW), but there's a reason for that. For fire safety reasons all the building is double-drywalled with Type X drywall sheets. In this pic the first layer is pre-installed (and caulked with fire-resistant sealant if needed) even before wiring the module. Then I would cut the drywall and install the box from the front of the wall. Further on the chain the final drywalling work is done and a 2nd layer of drywall is screwed in place.

LOL for a second I thought you were the world's worst drywaller...but you should see my taping/mudding work-it's bad when you have to do it with a 2" putty knife!

I've never done any drywalling. I may take "residential contruction repair and remodeling" as a vocational program. Here's a link to the Cranston Area Career and Technical Center (CACTC) website if you're interested in seeing other courses or want details on a course. Which do you think would deal the most with electricity? I'm thinking the one i pointed out earlier but maybe any sudgestions?

Ack, I never liked doing drywall work, I had a hole in my room that I patched a few months ago and it came out all lumpy looking. Razz Laughing

Typical case of DIY syndrome

I lol'ed xD

That means you need to read the instructions next time Laughing

Nah J/K! I've gotta admit, plastering isn't an easy job. I had to do it myself in the basement to patch a hole and the result wasn't particularly pretty Laughing

You need to do brick and block working.......... Still learning how to get it looking good.

I find what Andy mentioned a bit rude, especially since he still hasn't replied to my comment yet. Rolling Eyes

DIY syndrome- your work always looks poor........... Just because you need to practise more, then it improves.

Well, he could have used a nicer tone, I'm getting really tired of so called experts on here and LG poking holes in other's posts. Rolling Eyes Mad
