The lamp was from Home Depot, cause "Commercial Electric" is a Home Depot only brand. So yup. xD

I need to install some new outdoor lights in my house, I installed that one 70w one outside, the other ones aren't in good condtion, and needs to be replaced. But nice job! Looks professionally done.

Is that fixture rated for 72W, usually 60W max for thoses cheapies, prolly made in China.

Hmm I've wondered that; is it safe to use a 75W incandescent in a 60W MAX single lamp fixture? i have those dome lights in my basement with one 60W lamp each and they're rated at 60W max. I had 53W halogens in there (for the output of 75W incandescents) but they dim out badly when run horizontally it seems, so i put 60W lamps back in. It's too dim down there IMO but my parents don't want to buy new fixtures with two lamp sockets so the basement is stuck being dark.

If it's the "Hampton Bay" one from Home Depot, they are rated for 100 watts

Yep that's why I Installed the 72 watt which is equalivent to the 100 watt Wink
