Even these fixtures would be/look fine if they'd been installed/wired correctly (and the hole covered).

This simply looks like crap.

Should have just used a LED trim for that recessed square. Rolling Eyes

This has been fixed some time ago. The LED strips are gone and the hole has a cover. The new lights are LED wall packs.
