StreetLight #315 - Old ShoeBox
An old shoebox type light at a gardens place .. missing the glass, & tree starting to grow into it (maybe that's why the glass/cover is missing?).
There's a couple others of these in the same area too.

Just looking at them, I doubt they work anymore.

Location:
Hudson Gardens, Littleton, CO

I just love seeing abandoned things being overgrown like this. Kind of like being "reclaimed by nature". The wood pole is nice too.

Too bad to see it decay. Like Zarlog, I love seeing that "urban decay" (or maybe not so urban in this case lol) of abandoned places.

Basically the same way myself as well:
...Its sad to see a light in condition like this.
...But at the same time its sorta fascinating to see nature reclaiming its space (not so much in this case, but in places where its truly abandoned)

The place where this is, is still fully active (its basically like a small botanic gardens) and near a busy highway (what I'll call a suburban area)... these lights are just in a back corner along a dirt service road where noone goes. I know atleast one of the others is in slightly better condition, still having its cover.

This light (and the others like it) is gone now (as is the tree) the lights have been replaced by LED (new light pic) #386

Wow interesting pic. The tree growing into it makes it interesting

@traffic light1:
Yep. That tree is part of the reason why I took a pic of this particular light Smile
Atleast they will live on in virtual history now...
