This one has a severely dry-rotted cover to the point where it's decomposing. This was the PC that was on my Wheeler Boston crescent moon light when it was removed. It's a dayburner but I plan to fix it. I will be replacing the cover with one from a dead 1992 baby blue PC which I had tried to repair, but without success.
LOL I can totally picture that, as I could pretty much pierce the casing with my finger. There is no sign of water intrusion inside the PC though. I have a cap off a blue Ripley that I'll transfer onto this PC base.
Probably not. See how the front of it is missing where the window pops in? There's also a small crack on the left top of the window, which you can sorta see in the enlarged picture. I'll keep the window to use as a replacement for any Ripley I may get that's missing the window. This PC is also close to my age too! Made 9/30/1998. I was born 5/6/1998.
