Yep you guessed it, one belongs to one electrical company and other belongs to a different electrical company....you can see how the high lines are separate!
we have alot of forked guy wire arms, most are Double guyed though....Truss arms exist in alot of other towns but our long arms are usually double guy wire.
your area uses what I've seen in lot of older installations from the pics are Line Materials stuff....the one above is made possiblity a Line Materials too, not sure.....PEPCO in MD has a lot of varies of forked guylines arms different brands and stuff....including Line Materials....PEPCO also has a lot of double guys, but double guys without the fork mounts too, they have almost all kinds of double guy arms! The truss arm in the pic of course you know is powered by a different electrical company. You can see the main high lines wires are separate!
But SMECO (Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative) has a BUNCH of Forked Double guy arms, but now they install newer ones which are one of the coolest looking double guy forked arms I have ever seen, very smooth looking forked mount types I have seen of all, appears one piece cast metal!!!
most of our double guy arms are LM from what i can tell (Distinct mounting bracket) and of course there's those straight double guy arms which i suspect might be GE's Possibly, the bottom braced upsweeps in my Area which are all over the place look GE also.
