Interesting fix... This was a rather interesting fix, the traffic signal pole on the left replaced a pole last spring, now for whatever reason the new pole was not installed with a cobra head so when the time came to take the old poles down, the one that had the OV-15 on it was left up (with traffic signal mast arm removed) and a wire was run between the new and the old pole, then about two weeks ago, they came and cut the old pole in half and slipped the top half with the cobra head over the new pole, strange to say the least. Yeah, they did. What confuses me is why they didn't just put in a taller pole in the first place Rolling Eyes

Yeah, why go to the trouble of cutting the old pole in half and then splicing on the new one when they could have just used a taller pole. Rolling Eyes

I was actually looking at it again and I think the top section is actually a new pole, that is even more confusing, did they cut a new pole in half, or order a special top section. It is just plain strange...

Yeah, I should of asked the crew that did this, you can see they are still there in the background, the pole company is actually just located just a 10 minute drive from here.

Yes, it's on Rutherford Road, this is North of the Restore and just south of the intersection your lights came from.

Thanks, the crew trucks look like they're Guild Electric trucks. I'm not sure who services the lights in my area, I haven't caught them replacing stuff yet.

Yep Guild Electric, they maintain all of the traffic signals in Brampton (and a few other places too) I know they do install street lights and maintain them but not in Brampton, here EnerSource (formerly Mississauga Hydro) is contracted to repair the street lights, but they often get subcontractors too.
