Markham Polefabs
This intersection is a bit of a interesting one, the poles and hardware look like it was done to MTO specifcations down to the Polefab signal poles, the group relay PC switching (since bypassed when LED was put in but the hardware is intact) and the metal poles for the streetlights.

This road is a Markham owned road and I believe this the and next intersection 300m east which was installed at the same time are the only Markham owned roads with Polefabs. Some of the median signal poles have gotten some collision damage and you can see that they replaced the bottommost section on the pole closest to the camera.

If that bridge in the backgtround goes over an MTO highway, maybe they installed the signals when it was built

It replaced a level crossing in 1999. My best as to what happened is that Markham hired a contractor that installed all the lighting and signal poles to MTO specs. The bridge has a very MTO look to it too, with the heavy duty concrete tall wall barriers.

The hanger mounted signals are interesting too. I believe they are original to the bridge but they got converted from incandescent to LED in 2007.

All in all it makes for a very unique installation on a otherwise plain municipal road.
