Latest addition to my collection: F15T8/F15T12 preheat industrial unit
Won this on the bay. It came with two Sylvania F15T8/GRO lamps, one was spent. I took them out and replaced them with cool whites. I was going to put in F15T12/Ds but the ones I have have bent pins and I will have to fix them. Rych (prawnman88) also got the same kind from the same seller.

Today I replaced the tubes with new GE F15T12/CWs I bought at Blowes. Smile

They work well?

The new GE F15T12s were strobing and wouldn't stay lit at first. Got them to stay lit by removing the starters at the right times, but they were dim and mercury starved for half an hour. Now they are fine.

i see new tubes today tends to be dim or flickery at first start ups...probably low mercury related...

Funny thing, the new F15T12s aren't Ecoluxes.
