its more of a Quad tube.....a twin tube is two STRAIGHT tubes....this one goes up then down then up and down again......like the Quad lamps.....

Ok yeah,the tube comes up to the top,then turns down to the U shape near the base,then back up,then down.At first I didn't see the U in the tube near the base.
