Ooo! a T8 with bakelite endcaps! Shocked Very Happy

Well it's technically a Westy blackender (since it's a few years after the Philips buyout) and ACE bulbs were really made by Philips before they switched to GE.
I've still never seen a T8 blackender before, and certainly never an ACE one!

I remember Ace selling Norelco lamps in the early '80s.
The T12s had Philips endcaps but the T8s had older GE type endcaps.

The ACE lamps or Norelco lamps?
DimBulb   [Apr 11, 2013 at 01:56 AM]
I don't remember seeing ACE branded lamps back then, as I recall, ACE only sold Norelco in the early '80s.
At least the ACE where I lived.

Everything was Norelco? I'd have been in heaven in there!

i remember a clear 150w norelco bulb for sale at an ace hardware store in watsonville, ca as a kid. it had a single coil C-9 filament! also the ace hardware brand bulbs in around '86 were made at the norelco plant in lynn, ma the incs and all.
