113 lit
This is one of the 2 AEL 113's I got lit with a clear Philips 175w ED28 Lifeguard. The original lamps that came with these (a no-name /DX that is completely dead and won't even start on a pulse start ballast, and a very worn GE 175w that still works but only on a metal halide ballast. It is about as bright as a 100w merc when lit) are bad and so I had to use one I had laying around. Since the refractor is acrylic, I didn't run it for very long since I didn't want to melt it. The patterns on the refractor are pretty cool, and they look awesome with a clear lamp. If I were to install one of these, would it be a bad idea to use a clear lamp with an acrylic refractor? I don't want to ruin the refractor by using a clear lamp.

the clear lamp isn't going to do anything to an acrylic refractor. The polycarbonate ones are the ones that clear lamps destroy. Looks awesome! BTW I have your three lamps all boxed up for you whenever you're ready for them...

Alright, good to hear. As for when I can buy the lamps, I am out of cash at the moment since I just bought these 2 lights but I am going to sell some stuff to someone on LG and after that I will have enough cash.
