My guess it was an empty road. Like residential or something, and since it's late at night there was no traffic. I see no left turn signal so my guess is that it is residential. So you laid in the road, and snapped a picture.

Or... the road was closed. And the light is probably from your camera flash.

Very GOOD guess....but nope!!! The road was pretty busy road! (Hint...look at the 10 silverliner night shot...it may explain a bit...

AHA! As I saw in your day picture, I see that this signal is under the sidewalk. Signaling to the other side where the road ends on the road it intersects. So you lied down under this signal in the grass, and took a pic.

For the amount of time I need to make a nice STILL CLEAN CLEAR NIGHT shot.....I would be too stupid to be in middle of a Dairy Queen Exit....but an excellent guess and pretty close........wanna keep trying?

That's actually crazier.......I would even be stupider to do that......it's considered an hazard zone! So forget it! Much farther now....just think carefully on what kind of situation would be kinda unusual with traffic light mast....
