Neat looking fixtures there, I never seem anything like this one before.

I think I see some highway sign floodlights in the background there, does Maryland still install them and what lamp type do they use?

yes we always most of the time have sign floods......most are now MV abd MHs.........I saw some brand new ones from 2006-2007 installed with clear MVs.....i am not sure about now, but i saw some brand new ones in construction area off I-95 and fixtures sure looks kinda bigger, my suspect they are Icetrons!

Cool, it's nice to know that some highway departments still use sign floods, we used to use these here in Ontario but they have all been disconnected and left on the frame. I have a pic of the sign floods we used to use in my gallery.

I recently found more of those that are actually taller and has more fixtures on one pole! I was surprised.....

Unknown RLM style HPS fixtures found on Ramp going to Downtown Baltimore.

Those fixtures are found on ramps that goes Down Town Baltimore which are connected to I-95. I have no clue about those fixtures except that I noticed those back in mid-late 80s. Those are HPS and has oval shaped reflectors inside.
