Ancient Red Lamp.
Not sure of the age, but looking at the filament, maybe 1930s? See the lit pic for the filament. I think this os NAICO branded and it's 120V 125V according to the etch and it looks really dim when it's lit. Very little useable light.

Maybe NALCO?

probably. the etch isreally worn. you can only see it if you tilt the lamp to a certain angle and look at it. It's right on the top of the lamp within a circle that is faintly etched too.

NALCO North American Lamp Company is it carbon filament? I would guess it was as this co made carbons and good quality ones once again a rare lamp!!!!!

ahh thanks. the filament looks sort of like one of those old fashioned curly telephone cords and fades on and off rather than simply instant on and instant out.

Sounds like a carbon lamp then...likely Nalco as it's too old to be Norelco.
