This glowed at about 1/3 brightness in my grandpa's basement light. This lamp was retired from service earlier this evening (around 7:30 EST). I bought a GE T12 to replace it but it wouldn't fit so i swapped the GE i originally brought with me for a used Syvania T12 and that fit fine. I'll test this tomorrow on my closet light. Maybe it still works fine for all I know... Can anyone date this lamp? Thanks.
yep that's where he goes! Interestingly, the F40T12 lamps in his garage are actually marked "True Value" and have GE endcaps, so that makes me think GE made those lamps. Not sure on the true maker of these though since these aren't GE caps...
