I'm a fan of any preheat fixture that costs $6 lol. Laughing nice score! I'm not too big of a fan of the fake wood either but i like the fake wood on older station wagons and on stuff like old stereos and TVs. interesting how they installed the outlet sideways. Usually they're installed so that the ground faced away from the tube.

Same here...$6 is worth it even for just the parts IMO. Not a big fan of the fake wood too but they were quite popular here back in the 70s and 80s. Even the train interiors here had fake wood.

Oh boy those 70s TVs...I'm not as much into TVs but I do love old stereo tuners...I might eventually be scoring a 1978 JVC tuner and amplifier with the backlit dial, etc...
