Looks like it has been banged up really hard Confused

That's just too funny! The arc tube explosion shield is shattered but the arc tube is intact! Laughing Shocked Rolling Eyes

looks like the shroud was knocked out of place when the lamp was dropped from the ladder (assuming it was droppd on grass or something)

Other than that, the lamp looks fine arc-tube-wise! Wonder if it still works?

Not if he removed I think Aaron only replaces non-working lamps even in a group replacement. Sometimes they'll keep working after they've leaked but they won't be bright. Laughing

Yeah I'm not sure about this lamp, I noticed it in the bin, I didn't remove it from service

Victim of a group relamp I would assume...

It probably would have been on it's last legs anyway as it was slightly leaking. It's cheaper to have them replace the lamp now then to call them back in a couple months just to relamp this lamp.

Might be good for a NST experiment though.

Yeah an HV experiment would be cool!

Group relamps make sense with MH but fluorescent not so much, life is unpredictable and I'd say they could wait longer than 3-5 years to relamp! The F32T8/25W/SPX41 lamps have a life of 50,000 hrs

Wow that's a long time for a fluorescent!
