who was the mastermind behind that? lol I think those skull shaped Mh lamps are the ugliest things... imagine one in a durastar. an ugly lamp in an ugly fixture lol.

No idea, but I agree these are ugly, they are really only usrd in recessed cans and don't look to bad in there, but the life on these really sucks! Most of them last a year or so

I've seen these used a lot by Toronto in their AEL Corvus lumes. Looks really odd in them.

Their pulse start lamps are a lot better , the 100W lamps will go for years although they color shift and get really dim sometimes

oh they are good? i heard bad things about the PSMH lamps too. So i guess only the probe start Mh lamps are bad?

yeah i guess the lamp was so overdriven the arc tube started expanding. Shocked

I remember back when Jace got his 400w PowrBracket it had a 175w merc inside which had a nice bow in the arctube.
