MH Cooper pathlight shoeboxs
These 2 fixtures have been at this city park for almost or about 10 yrs now. The city standards for the shoeboxs on pathways has been HPS for a long time. (now some LED retrofitting and installs taking place in new areas or main public paths.) Most of the park shoebox path lights are HPS, but just these 2007-2009 install fixtures are MH. I never clued into it until recently being at the park at night. This is the only double fixture in the park as well.

Never knew these were not HPS! I don't remember what stickers are on them.

PSMH path lights seem much better than icky HPS lol. I bet you're actually GLAD to see LEDs go up at least on the paths (though those drop lens shoeboxes are quite something; sad to see them disappearing). BTW, is it really this bright in person or does the camera make it look brighter? Seems like one light would have been sufficient.

Very interesting, I know Toronto uses a lot of MH Twistpaks as path lights. Some look like they're MV too. Never seen one of these drop lens sheoboxes that's not HPS either. I suppose I should remote ballast mine just to see how it looks lol.

They are much brighter than the HPS. The camera made it look a bit brighter than it is. Theres a few of these that are burned out too. There is a skating rink next to this area with new Post top LED's. The park also has HPS path teardrop looking fixtures in both HPS and LED.

UPDATE: all the shoebox pathlights are being replaced with black decorative K200 (Pretty sure its the 204) series acorn lights. Half of them are already in operation
