This OV-15.. (now replaced)
So the crews went around putting spot replacement AE 115's and the OV-15 facing me has been out for over a year and a half! The OVZ's and R47's nearby are recent outtages and they were even replaced. I might just report this OV-15 out because nobody else will. *Note the Econolite Bullseyes. Notice the new Incandescent look lens installed late January

My understanding is any new light pole request/reconstruction/new road/traffic signal knockdown replacement would be a form of cutoff lens. Yet the maintenance contractor still uses drop lenses. I guess they are sitting on a stockpile of drop lenses from the LED retrofitting of the whole neighbouring city, likely all scrapped though.

I find it interesting they replaced cobras on MTO freeway signal poles (for example: 410 northbound off ramp at Queen St: non-MTO fixture spot replacement AEL115s)

Yeah I noticed now that there's pretty much AE 115's at every bridge on the older parts of the 410 (Bovaird to steeles) except for Williams pkwy which is still all OV-15's and the OV-25 and the AE 125.

Interesting, as the original equipment on the Queen and Williams bridges are OV-15's, but only the ones on queen appear to be dying.

I believe, along with highway 410, MTO is only responsible for the poles containing off ramp signals. These cobrahead sets generally don't have photocells, they are controlled in group with the MTO highhway, although sometimes they do. The 410 has off ramps with sets of both going on Shocked
