I've started to realize that some are painted white, and the shiny ones are not bare metal but a metalic paint! This one looks white.

Yeah all of them on this road are metallic except for 3 of them that are painted white. Model 25's seem to be the most shiny fixtures around here

they're not really white, they're gray. The older 1960s model 25s were silver but i think up in Canada they continued to offer them in silver through the 70s after they went gray here.

Must be a really light grey. The appear more like white to me even the Model 25 that was coated on the ground down the road from this spot looked more like white.

yeah overtime the paint fades a little and becomes powdery (like older powdercoated aluminum siding on houses) and looks a little more white, especially ITT/Thomas & Betts lights. GE lights were a hair darker though. Westies were always silver until after they were bought by Cooper. Cooper kept the lights silver until around the mid-80s when the OVS/OVM came out and the OV-50 was renamed the OVL.

This Model 25 has stopped cycling at night Sad

Time for an AEL 115. Razz

I hope not though. Its the only intersection that still sports a Model 25 in Brampton. There were 2 more in this area before. One was at Orenda which has been an OVX for 5 years, and at Clark before they widened. Clark and Dixie before widening had all Model 25's and CGE's. Even a CGE 12-8-8-12 man I miss what that intersection used to look like Sad Laughing

I still think this model 25 is being moved to a temporary pole. The temp poles all have a cobra but the one right beside the model 25 has nothing yet

That's weird, I wonder why they're transferring this one. No complaints about it though! Very Happy

Hopefully it does! The only temporary lights ive seen are AE 125's (only on the street length not the intersections), 1 R47, 4 OVF's (2 at intersections and 2 at a train bridge.) and OVX's (only at intersections) Keeping a Model 25 there would make me happy Cool. Theres nothing wrong with that Model 25. Its pretty rare that a light gets transferred here but if thats the case here than it would be nice.
