Aluminum tapered elliptical arm with external wiring, unusual! Externally wired arms are found virtually all over Southern California, save for the Imperial Irrigation District, municipal utilities of Colton, Azusa, Burbank, and Glendale, and the small co-op Anza Electric. This arm is one of a few found in Banning, CA which has a municipal electric utility. Odd to see a tapered elliptical arm externally wired, looks kinda awkward also lol. I guess Curlee may have made this arm, as it looks similar to some of the internally wired 8 feet tapered elliptical arms found in the city of Glendale. I'm less of an expert on identifying the makes of the arms as I am on lamps and luminaires however, so if I'm wrong feel free to comment. The fixture, of course, is a 1980s vintage ITT Series 13, 100w HPS. Keywords: American_Streetlights
