Overhead Marina Triplex
Just curious, is this actually permitted by whatever codes? It's attached, along with the HPS cobra heads, to the tops of the pilings. But in the event of a small tsunami or something...then what? Seen at a city owned marina in Craig, Alaska.

I'm not sure. Usually all the electrical is run in conduit under the dock, but that might be simply because it looks much better than having wires strewn all over the place. It's definitely an interesting way of doing it. I'd expect the triplex and M-250A2s to be mounted directly to the poles. In the event a tsunami comes and tears apart the dock, the triplex would probably rip apart.

Yeah there's those weird metal extensions too. In the event of a tsunami though there's worse issues. Same M250A2s and clear polycarbonate lenses as Sitka has though.

I'm pretty sure those extensions are used for holding up primary wires in some instances. Tony would know better than me though.
