Wonder why GE just didn't use the regular FCO lens for the FCO M-400A2. It looks better using this reflector. Confused
LilCinnamon   [Mar 10, 2011 at 12:25 AM]
To keep a 90 degree cutoff angle, so its not angled.
GullWhiz   [Mar 10, 2011 at 02:46 AM]
Actually at first they DID use the regular reflector style...except they were in 90 degree cut off angle.....but they redesigned the reflector in early 80s or very late 70s for specific controlled lighting distribution...
streetlight98   [Mar 10, 2011 at 07:58 PM]
Because the M-400R2 still uses the normal relfector.
GullWhiz   [Mar 10, 2011 at 08:21 PM]
yeah, Dave (Silverliner14B) told me he lives in area that uses all...GE M-400A1 FCO, GE M-400A2 FCO, GE M-400R2 FCO, GE M-400A3 FCO, GE M-400R3 FCO.....he told me personally what he sees from Best to Worst light distribution.....Best M-400A2 FCO, M-400A1, FCO, GE M-400A3 FCO, GE M-400R3 FCO, and the worst is GE M-400R2 FCO...) That's what he saw as he compared them..
Silverliner14B   [Mar 10, 2011 at 08:41 PM]
Yup that's what I see here.
streetlight98   [Mar 11, 2011 at 12:08 AM]
I know the new M-400 FCO has bad light distribution, but we don't have M-400R2 FCO here.
LilCinnamon   [Mar 11, 2011 at 12:12 AM]
I might as well tell you guys that this is my M-400 a2 FCO with my M-400 r2 reflector to make it look like a new light. I was doing it as an early April fools Joke. xD
streetlight98   [Mar 11, 2011 at 12:19 AM]
That sure got me Razz Laughing I was almost becoming suspicous because the Powr/door was EXACTCLY the same as your FCOs. Now i know the truth. If you find a door on the ground, or someone here does and the don't need/want it, then they could send it to you and you could make a completed M-400A2 SCO.

Only new cobrahead I have now is a 115 I got from graybar today.

Form109   [Mar 11, 2011 at 08:27 PM]
INVALID. Very Happy
streetlight98   [Mar 11, 2011 at 09:40 PM]
So you have two 115s?
LilCinnamon   [Mar 11, 2011 at 11:42 PM]
Yeah. One is Canadian and the other is From the USA. One has been in service and one has never been in service. One is FCO and the other is drop lens.

Aand.. The older one was made in 2007 and the newer one was made in 2009. 2 years apart.
