Newest Addition, American Electric 113. I got this actually a long time ago, months ago, but have been too lazy to take a picture of it or take it off the arm it came with. But I got this at Bud's Warehouse (A ReStore) in Colorado, it came with an arm, and the photocell is busted inside the light, so it would need a new Photocell socket. I need to restore this guy, the refractor that came with it is nice and beaten up. I have an extra refractor so I will use it on this, so my next project would be restoring this, but I dunno, my parents are moving away from Colorado and if I stick around here I won't have many streetlights with me they will be down in Arkansas with my family. Nice! I wonder what the age is? Looks like early 90s. Too bad it's in such rough shape. What style and size is the arm? I wonder if a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser would get most of the scuffs off the outside. If most of the scuffs come out you might not need to repaint it. A few scratches here and there make the light look like it's done good service. Cool I hope to get one of these from around here. Most are 50W here.

It will need a repainting regardless. This is more of a mid-80s version I have one just like it.

What's the difference between 80s and 90s version? I always go by the NEMA tag. The 90s ones were a lighter yellow and faded easily and the 80s ones were a deeper gold-yellow and didn't fade (much like the late 80s-early 90s GE tags). The 70s and early 80s AE tags were cool. They were metallic- even the MV ones!

The original 113 had the wire latch keeper and the slot in the door. In 1985, the hinge was redesigned with the slotted housing (I have one of these).

Oh they did? I thought only the 13s had the hinge keeper. I believe the 25, 125, 13, and 113 were all made together for a few years since I've seen spec sheets for the 13/113 and 25/125 with both models on the sheet.

I've been to that Bud's Warehouse store a couple times..its too bad its not at all convenient for me or I'd go more often.
